Linnemann Motorsport has changed the damper supplier for 2015 European Rallycross campaign.
The ERC-team from Northern Jutland has been used the french company BOS Engineering as their damper supplier since 2011, but this cooperation has now ceased. It is now official, that the dutch-based company Reiger Racing Suspensions will provide Linnemanns shock absorber-solutions for the future; a collaboration Ulrik Linnemann is looking forward to.
“I needed something innovative on that front, that’s why. I’ve been happy with my BOS dampers, and the frenchmen Bossard had a big share in my silvermedal in the European Championship back in 2011. The new deal with Reiger is also something I have considered for a while in relation to my development since 2011, but it was time to change. My 208 needs the best solutions, otherwise I’m doomed. I also had a long conversation with Petter Solberg a while ago, where he directly recommended me to use Reiger dampers. Of course his recommendation played a role in this election. ” says Ulrik Linnemann with a smile.
The danish Rallycross-team is preparing the last parts and improvements in the workshop to get ready for departure this Wednesday. This time the journey goes to Portugal and the first 2015 European Championship round.
“We are excited. In the recent tests, it looks like the pre-season improvements pay off. At the moment the guys are working very well with producing a lot of spareparts so we will be ready to fight. I am convinced; it will be difficult to beat us this year.” says team owner Jørgen Linnemann.
